Huron, OH - Groff Family Services has expanded to create the area's only funeral home located on the grounds of a cemetery, forming Meadow Green Funeral Home and Cemetery.
Kara C. Groff became President of Groff Family Services, leading the commitment of celebrating and commemorating life’s milestones.
In a statement from Kara Groff, “Our family-owned business has evolved, re-defining as Groff Family Services connects all six divisions of our company to everyone’s life journey, beginning with baby and bridal showers to memorializing a life well lived.”

Woodland Cemetery & Arboretum is pleased to announce the restoration of a recently rediscovered fountain that had been filled in and planted over during the past 50 years. This restored fountain is the center piece of an in-ground cremation scattering garden called Fountain Garden. Families will have the option of placing the cremated remains of a loved one in the earth of a working garden and have a beautiful spot to visit and reflect upon those that have passed before us.
